Nature's Farm Camp Location
100 miles southwest of Chicago lies Antiquity Oaks: the homestead and farm of the Niemann-Boehle family with 32 acres divided among a couple big barns, pasture for the animals, fields for vegetable production and the pond, woods and creek. It beautiful, but the wide assortment of friendly animals - goats, sheep, pigs, chickens, ducks, peafowl, a cow, a horse, three dogs and a cat - are the highlight.
Mike is a college professor and Deborah is a published author of several books, including 'Homegrown & Handmade' (and blogs here). Former intern Sarah Gocek is now a partner and the resident farmer, selling produce, eggs and soaps at markets.
